How much can I expect to receive from the sale of my equipment? 
BkkAuctioneers recommends to all sellers / consignor’s to please put on the buyer's hat and ask what would you be willing to pay for the item or items you want to sell?    

Owners / consignor can determine their own selling price as long as it does not exceed 50% of what the item cost when new excluding Gov. Tax. We recommend that consignors visit competing websites such as Craigslist, Amazon.Com & Ebay “ETC” to determine the fair market value for their second-hand equipment. 

Average depreciation schedule for second-hand restaurant equipment
1 year or less old 45% to 40% of the cost when new
1 to 2-year ... old 40% to 35% of the cost when new
2 to 3-year ...old 35% to 30% of the cost when new
3 to 4-year ...old 30% to 25% of the cost when new
4 to 5-year ...old 25% to 20% of the cost when new
5 to 6-year ...old 20% to 15% of the cost when new

Please bear in mind the average depreciation schedule is based on condition and age, some restaurant owners take meticulous care of their equipment which pays off when it’s time to sell, if your equipment is in mint condition it’s definitely possible to capture more than what's indicated on the above depreciation schedule.   

Dirty equipment

We can not emphasize enough that dirty equipment will drastically affect the resale price of your second-hand equipment, condition and cleanliness is a key factor in what your second-hand equipment will sell for. 

Broken equipment
No potential restaurant equipment buyer will be interested in purchasing broken equipment, we strongly recommend having broken equipment repaired before showing it to potential buyers.
