With this agreement, all equipment and assets are picked up and sold directly from BKKauctioneers’ showroom warehouse. Here’s how it works:

  • BKKauctioneers handles everything, including uninstalling and transporting the equipment from the seller’s location to our warehouse.
  • Sellers are not involved in the selling process or any buyer interactions.
  • As each item is sold, the seller will receive payment directly from BKKauctioneers.
    This option is perfect for sellers who prefer a hands-off approach.

2. Consignment Agreement Type 2: Sell from Your Location

This agreement is designed for sellers who want to sell equipment directly from their own location. Here’s how it works:

  • BKKauctioneers connects the buyer and seller.
  • Buyers visit the seller’s location to inspect the equipment and finalize the purchase.
  • Delivery or pickup arrangements are made between the buyer and seller.
    This option is ideal for sellers located far outside Bangkok or those who prefer to keep the equipment on-site until sold.

How does Bkkauctioneers handle the sale of my equipment?

Bkkauctioneers will connect buyers and sellers directly through phone, WhatsApp, Line, or email. In most cases, the buyer will place a good faith deposit with Bkkauctioneers, equivalent to 25% of the agreed sale price. This deposit is fully refundable if the buyer decides not to complete the purchase after inspection. Once the buyer is satisfied, they will pay the remaining balance to Bkkauctioneers. At the agreed time, we will transfer the payment to you, the consignor.

What does it cost to sell through Bkkauctioneers?

Bkkauctioneers charges a 16% seller premium for handling the sale of your assets.

How much can I expect to receive from my sale?

We advise sellers to consider what they would be willing to pay as a buyer. Sellers can set their own prices, as long as they don’t exceed 50% of the original cost (excluding taxes). We recommend checking competitors’ listings on platforms like Craigslist, Amazon, eBay, and Facebook to determine an appropriate price for your equipment.

Average depreciation schedule on second-hand equipment

  • 1 year old or less 45% of the cost when new.
  • 1 to 2-year-old 40% to 45% of the cost when new.
  • 2 to 3-year-old 35% to 40% of the cost when new.
  • 3 to 4-year-old 30% to 35% of the cost when new.
  • 4 to 5-year-old 25% to 30% of the cost when new.
  • 5 to 6-year-old 20% to 25% of the cost when new.

Please note, these estimates are based on age and condition. If your equipment is in excellent condition, it may sell for more than the values listed.

Condition matters

Dirty Equipment: Dirty equipment significantly reduces resale value. Cleanliness is key to maximizing your sale price.

Broken Equipment: Buyers won’t be interested in broken items. We strongly recommend repairing any damaged equipment before listing it for sale.
